K107FM announced as a finalist for 2023 Fife Business Awards

Kirkcaldy Community Radio (K107FM) are today celebrating after being confirmed as a finalist at the 2023 Fife Business Awards for their partnership with the free and impartial energy and debt advice service, Cosy Kingdom.

The annual event, organised by Fife Chamber of Commerce, consists of a 16 strong judging panel, all prominent business figures bringing a wealth of experience across all sectors of business in the area. They have spent weeks reviewing the Fife Business Awards applications, and the scores are in, K107FM have been nominated in the Community Partnership category, based upon their delivery of multimedia content and partnership with Cosy Kingdom. This providing regular and trusted information to listeners on-air and online and tackling mis-information with regards to the energy crisis and providing support to the local community.

“We’re delighted to see our efforts being nominated, the Cosy Chat series is further testament to our efforts both on-air and within our community. Growing numbers of local businesses and organisations are working with us, and this partnership is something that highlights the power of radio, and our ability to reach people not served online or via social media alone.”

The judges have stated that the quality of applicants was outstanding, making the shortlisting process a very difficult one. They were impressed by the breadth of talent and success stemming from businesses of all shapes and sizes, across Fife, and they are very much looking forward to meeting the finalists over the coming months. The judging process will now move to visiting the finalists at their places of work.
